Hamilton Valley Management is a mid-sized property development and management company. We specialize in affordable multi-family housing in rural areas of Texas. We have extensive experience with US Department of Agriculture Rural Development, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) tax credit program, and TDHCA HOME program. In addition to traditional multi-family housing, we manage 37 properties designed for elderly households and one congregate care facility.
John Hoover developed his first apartment community in 1969: a six unit property in his home town. Through the years, he bought and sold a few apartment properties, but most of his multi-family experience was in the field of construction. In 1980, John decided to keep one for himself after building more than 200. Hamilton Valley Management, Inc. was established shortly thereafter in 1981 with one part time employee and a portfolio of three apartment communities. Well, time has changed and so have we! Hamilton Valley Management now has a home office staff of 22 and manages 90 properties in 65 cities across Texas.

Accounting and Compliance
Financial and property management acccounting and data management is performed via a computer package designed by AMSI. All accounting, payroll, accounts payable/receiveable is done with this program. All tenant certifications/verifications are done using Simply Software as well as the capability to transmit data to USDA-RD.
